About the Project

This tool provides advanced watershed analysis capabilities for hydrologists, environmental scientists, and GIS professionals.

The application uses sophisticated HUC (Hydrologic Unit Code) and TOHUC (To Hydrologic Unit Code) analysis to identify headwater watersheds. Headwater watersheds are those whose HUC codes are not found in any other watershed's TOHUC list, making them the starting points of river systems.
